Fader?
Read the manual but cant get it to work.
I presume the Fader function is meant to give you a fade in from black when hitting record and fade to black when hitting stop. Finally worked out you must have a tape in to get it to enable, Im using the Mrk1. Im still not getting it to work on the files though? Does it only work for tape capture and not the card? Appreciate any insights. cheers

Re: Fader?
I've never understood why someone would want to do this in-cam, but the manual does confirm you do need a tape inserted for the function to work. It's silent as to whether this will work with the MRC unit.
It notes that the function turns off every time you power down the cam. Page 73.

Re: Fader?
Thanks Adam,
Will keep having a play. Would never normally use it either, but doing an Eistedfod for next few weeks, lots of performers, lots of DVDs, every mouse click saved is golden.

Re: Fader?
I've never used this function before but when I saw this thread I was curious and tried it. It does do a fade in to the CF card with a tape in but I couldn't get a fade out.
