Getting timecode from MRC1 display on camera screen
I can not figure this one out....
I have a tapeless workflow.. just using the MRC1 with disk for all my recordings. I want to be able to see the timecode that is displayed on the MRC1 on the little fold out screen of the Z5U. I have the two connected to the point that I can hit record on the camera and it will start recording on the MRC1... but can't get the next step to work... any help is greatly appreciated. -Steven |

Re: Getting timecode from MRC1 display on camera screen
Hm. Are you saying that you aren't seeing any TC on the Z5's LCD, or that the Z5 TC is different from the MRC TC?
I'm pretty sure the MRC simply follows the TC of the Z5. Make sure TC FORMAT on the MRC is set to AUTO. Then it should be a matter of setting everything the way you want it on the cam. For us we use free run, UB-Date/TC-Time, then use TC-Link to sync all the cams together. Of course, CAM DATA DSP needs to be ON.
