Sony UWP-V1 for my new FX1000
Has anybody ever had a chance to work with these Wireless Mic setups? I will be getting my new Sony FX1000 pretty soon and hoping to get at least one set of Wireless Mic setups. I have been looking at the Sennheiser option, but also ran into these Sony UWP-V1 Just wondering if anyone had ever had any experience with these. Thanks again

Love mine. I have the G2 from Sennheiser and hate it. My sony never gives me any problem. The mic sound great to.

I hated the G2 as well, sucked, glad it's gone. I don't own the Sony, but one of my guys does, and it is REALLY good.

have to say i'm still using my senn. ev100 kit. gets through 9v batteries pretty quick, but otherwise rock solid and still sounding good (played with a few alternatives but couldn't see any reason to upgrade).
however, i still prefer good shotgun strategically placed (usually boom or stand over talent pointing down) - much more 'natural sound'. and, a real problem with all the wireless mics i've heard / tried, is mobile breakthrough - that annoying 'beeping', even when phones are turned 'silent'. there's always some idiot who thinks they're so important that actually turning their phone OFF is impossible..... |
