Once nice feature about the Z7 that I could use on the Z5 is the horizontal axis guide on the screen. If you have aspirations or projects you want to move into that may exceed needs for weddings, the Z7's interchangable lenses might be just the ticket. Like was said before, you could go wrong with either cam.
