looking to buy fx1000 or a z5u
hello im looking to buy a fx1000 or z5u camera,with low hours,i tried the classified forum with no luck ,im from nj email me at shatterdlens@yahoo.com if available

Couple suggestions. Call B&H and Full Compass and other online retailers for open box returns and refurbs. Keep calling, don't expect them to keep your number handy (never seems to work that way). Consider the Z7U on your list as being a professional camera, it might be more likey to come back from a rental, etc.. I know Full Compass has a whole bunch of rentals, but I am pretty sure they don't have a Z5. EX1's and other cams.
Another suggestion is to be very astute just after the Olympics. My buddy buys a lightly used cam after each Olympics on the used market, usually through Ebay. Rental and contract organizations buy/rent cams for the event then unload them afterwards. He generally gets a great deal. The cams he buys are typically a little higher end than Z5s though. We're only a couple weeks away from the Winter Olympics.
