HDMI output to view clips from MRC1
I have connected my monitor via HDMI cable to my Z5 to view what I have recorded on the MRC1 unit but I can't view the video clips recorded. It does though show the clips recorder on the tape. Is this how is supposed to be?

That shouldn't be Stelios. I can play my clips back from the MRC1 that's hooked up to my Z5 via HDMI to my Pioneer plasma. Can you see your clips in this same configuration when playing back via tape? Can you see the MRC1 clips on the Z5's LCD or viewfinder?
If the answer is yes to the last question, it sounds like an HDMI issue with your display. |

Stelios,
Sorry if this is teaching you to suck eggs... but I take it you are pressing play on the MRC1 - not the camera? |

I found out what the "problem" is. When the recording on the MRC1 is in DV then there is no output in the HDMI outlet, only when the recording is in HDV then you can view images via the HDMI. Please guys try this and let me know if I am right.
