Fx1000: display in feet not meters at DVinfo.net

When adjusting focus manually, the distance is displayed in metres (meters). How can I toggle this to feet?

I know there is a menu setting on the Z5 to toggle it between feet and meters, and it's found in:
Display set -> Focus Display

Check to see whether the FX1000 has the same option. I had a quick scan of the FX1000 manual, and I believe it does not have this option, unfortunately.

The FX1000 does not have that menu item. I too checked the manual before starting the thread and was hoping for a trick key press or something else to get the units changed.

I would have assumed that the FX1000E is in Meter and the FX1000 in feet ... sure you did not get the European version ?

Fairly certain. Purchased it in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and not online. We are metric here and have been for decades.
