Z5 HD Firewire Capture
I am presently using Final Cut Pro 6. I am having trouble seeing my footage on the canvas and I am not able to capture footage. (1080i 60i) from my Sony dv tape.
I do have control of my VTR though. Does anybody have an idea of proper settings? I figure I put this question on this thread because of the Z5 thinking someone is is the same situation as me. |

If you are actually capturing off the Z5, have you checked what your export settings are for capture? |

I've only had our Z5 for a few days, but I have had no problem importing footage into FCP, either 25p or 50i.
I tried the standard method of pulling in HDV with no problems, but now I use the method of converting to ProRes on import, which has editing benefits. I'm happy to advise on my settings if it's a settings issue..? |
