Macks warranties are very popular, and I hear the service is great, but thankfully I've never had to make a claim.

If you decide to buy one, you can usually get the best prices from ebay.
I bought Mack warranties from ebay for other electronic equipment and got good prices compared to anywhere else. |

Mack Camera Warranty
My last experience with Mack was not good. Sent VX2000 to them three times. I finally gave up. It was never repaired correctly. They are good for head cleanings. They did not seem to want to put any parts into the unit only clean it. I had to pay for all the shipping to them. I will never by another mack camera warranty. Check out the Sony warranties with accidental breakage coverage. Only sony can fix these cameras properly if there is a major problem.

Thanks Jim, that is good to know about Mack warranties. I've never know anyone that actually used one.
