I am in the same boat as you. Waiting also for my Z5 next Tuesday not from B&H though but from PRESTON UK (PAL system). Days are too long...

Ordered mine on Friday from B&H. Haven't received the shipping confirmation yet, but it should be here Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait.

They gave me a decent trade-in value for my VX2100, too.

Hey Rod,

No, not a pro - just a long time hobby. I have done a few projects for the pros I know, mostly wedding "love stories" (short films about the couple, usually shown at weddings).

I love doing this, but sadly I doubt I can ever do it professionally. From my limited experience, I found that there's been little room for me to get creative when money is involved.

Unfortunately consumer grade equipment had never evolved to my standards of image quality, therefore I spend money on equipment like VX2100, Nikon D200 and now this. People makwe fun of me for lugging these monsters around, but no one complains when they see the finished product :)
