Need some help on Z1 day-test

I'm going to be renting a Z1 for just one day to get a feel for the camera controls and it's performance in different lighting conditions. I was just wondering, would there be any problems with me switching from PAL to NTSC modes on the same tape? Would Final Cut have problems capturing because of the 'jumps' between the two?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, I've never tried that but I suspect it would work. OTOH, why not just spend a couple bucks more for an extra tape? The cost would be insignificant when you're thinking about buying $4500 camera...
