Remote zoom speed fixed?

It appears that the HDR-FX1's zoom speed (from the remote) is fixed and not adjustable. Just looking for confirmation on this or a work around.

Do you mean the LANC zoom speed or the wireless Sony remote? See the following for discussion of problems with LANC zoom speed:
