Will the Shure WL-184 & Shure MX-1BP Work With FX1? at DVinfo.net

I've had the FX-1 for about 2 weeks now. For audio, a friend recommended the Shure WL-184 and the MX-1BP battery pack (wired setup). The Shure equipment arrived yesterday and I tested it out. I'm connecting it with the Beachtek DXA-FX adaptor.

I am getting a lot of continual hissing with this equipment. I either have something setup wrong or do not have compatible equipment with the FX-1. The DXA-FX is designed for this camera so that can't be it.

Can someone describe what the proper setup should be to achieve quality audio? I'm just getting my feet wet with this equipment.
