WB SHIFT ? Help requested
Has anyone found a resource here or elsewhere which states what the mired shift is for each notch on the WB SHIFT scale as found on Sony Cams.
It annoys me that this detail is not in the Specification. So can anyone help out there?

On p. 27 of my Z1U manual, it states
"... you can adjust the color temperature ranging in +/- 7 steps from 5800K for outdoor recording. A step is equivalent to about 500K." Bill |

Thanks;
Sony please take note - your technical writers deserve a good flogging, this information should be in the tech specs at the back of the document not buried in the text.

Further to this, although each notch may be 500K for the daylight setting of 5800k - what about the indoor setting?
if you remove 7 x 500K (=3500K) from the indoor temp of 3200K you get (-300K) so the 500K per notch cannot be valid for the indoor setting, ????
