FX1 and Glidecam

For those who use a FX1 or Z1 with a glidecam: Is a wide angle lens needed with these cams with their wider field of view? With my 2100 it was a needed item...curious if so with these.

Z1 and Glidecam 2000

Depends what you mean by "needed".

I have used my Z1 on a Glidecam 2000 and been very pleased with the results, using just the standard lens, set at widest.

FX1 at widest is OK with the new Steadicam as well.
