Steve Mullen's Z1/FX1 Handbook

Hi,
just wondering anyone had any thoughts on Steve Mullen's Z1/FX1 Handbook? I've searched, and haven't been able to find any reviews or comments.

I was wondering if this is comparable to the Barry GReen's DVX book? I'm thinking about getting a z1, and having definitive guide on it would help in the decision making proccess.

Thanks

You mean it is actually available? I caught wind of this quite a while ago and thought it looked hopefull. Since then nothing. The entry I found on amazon.co.uk listed the publisher as Sybex yet the sybex web site had no mention of it.

I classified it as the print equivalent of 'vapourware'.

I don't think it's supposed to printed. It's a download book off the the site, then you can read it on your computer or bring it to somewhere like Kinkos and have them print it with bindings.

Also vasst.com has a book called HDV: What you need to know

I'm interested in both books but haven't taken the plunge.

I've got the VASST book already. Very informative; covers a lot of fundemental things. Got it free with the purchase from videoguys....

It's been available since last September!

Sybex had major financial problems last year that led to my going my own way and to them ultimately being bought by another company.

Because the Sony eBook has been selling very well, I haven't put a lot of effort into marketing it while I finished the JVC HD100 equivilent. This became available on December 15th and there are many positive comments on the HD100 Forum.

If you want to see the HD100 feedback you can go to my website. To learn more about the eBooks, and to order one, please go to the sites below.

Thank you for asking!

Steve,
I downloaded your Sony book this afternoon, after ordering a Z1. Excellent book!
