4:3 marks on LCD - bios update ?

I'm a PAL user - Z1E - 720x576 in PAL - 1440x1080 in HDV

As you all know, there's a bug (!?) on the 4:3 marks.
They are on the limits of the 4:3 frame (720) and not on the safe image.
If I shoot some thing very near the marks, it comes NOT on TV screen. Stays in the underscan portion.

This could / should be solved by Sony with a bios update.

Does anyone knows a rumor on that, or it will die this way ?
