FX1 cameos on SURFACE
I'm watching episode 11 of SURFACE on my iPod and there's a scene where they use a Z1 (edit: FX1, as I've learned) to play back a DV tape. I'm pretty geeky/lame to get a thrill from it. (wink)

^Actually that's a FX1. you can see the Rec Review, Spotlight, and Backlight buttons instead of Assign 4, 5, and 6.

Good call. Probably cheaper to buy. Nice to see it, though. They also had them as the cameras they shot the "news report" on.

Hey, I just saw that also on SciFi channel! Supposedly MSNBC was using the FX1 to film an interview. Wonder if there's any truth to that? :-)

I re-watched it on my iPod and confirmed the FX1-ness; it's so hard to tell when it's on that small of a screen.

^Yep, to film a autopsy or during the examination of a body right at the beginning of the show.
