Can the FX1 do audio dubbing? at DVinfo.net

Hello

Can the FX1 do audio dubbing? what I mean by this is can I record some footage bring it home then add music over the top of it with out transferring it to a computer? is there any setting on the camera that can let you do this? I want to add the sound to it by connecting up an external CD player or mini disk player and playing the music over the footage as the camera records it.

Only in SD. In HDV, there is only one stereo track, so no secondary audio track to record to and mix in later, without the use of a computer.
