HVR-Z1U timecode out to monitor
A client of uses a HVR-Z1U. She produces while I shoot with her camera. I read the manual extensively and know that there SHOULD BE a way to superimpose timecode on the monitor out. However, when we switch it "on" the timecode (viewfinder display) flashes for a 1/2 second then goes away.
On a recent "overflow" job of hers, I produced while a buddy of mine shot the video. He owned a Z1U and could not figure out what was going wrong either. Does anyone have a clue? Could one setting be over riding another? Is there a way to reset the camera? Thanks for your help. |

Do you have any markers on? This typically disables the external data output.
