Preventing the Data information from being recorded
Is there a way to be able to see the Z1 Data information (time remaining and all the other icons) in the LCD flip out screen without it being visible to a portable DVD burner connected to the S-video analog out?
My colleague says his Panasonic can. I know that the data information isn't visible on the firewire out and on the DV tape but the company likes to have the option of sending the client the DVDs directly without having to capture, encoded and burn. If its possible I'd rather not hide the display the data info because I won't know how many minutes remaining. |

Page 80 of the manual.
In OTHERS Menu (the four "boxes") DISP OUTPUT (menu item) => LCD Panel My guess is it currently reads V-OUT/PANEL
