Racing Footage

I am seriously looking at getting an FX1 or Z1 but am a bit concerned about shooting fast motion. Does anyone have a sample they can post of a car race, bike race, motocross race or something along these lines?

Thanks

I haven't seen it but DSE reported that he covered a similar event without trouble. He might be able to help out on settings.

I've covered 3 fairly active motoX events, and have probably 20 hours of footage of "rehearsal" as I'd only done Demolition Derby for CMT in the past. The rehearsal footage, we have. The CMT footage, we don't.

No problems of note. Fast shutter speeds, aperture at 5.2, looked great. Had a few artifacted 'smears' when fast panning across bright merc vapor lights over the track when it was dark, but other wise, it all worked out well.

As soon as I can get some server space cleared, no problem. We're at 4 gigs on a 3 gig contract, so we're struggling a little with getting enlarged storage. We're supposed to have another gig later today.
