New Training DVD - How to Use the FX1/Z1U Cameras
Has anyone purchased this new training DVD:
http://www.hdvguides.com The trailer looks excellent, very nicely produced, perhaps someone could post a review. It's a bit pricey, but I guess if you can afford to buy the camera, you can afford to buy the training DVD! |

Bought it, watched it, watched it again.
Worth every penny! The only thing I didn't like is that they did not finish talking about the differences between the FX1 and the Z1, and they didn't point out the differences as they went. A lower third would have done the job. They basically ignored the majority of HDV owners. But it was still extremely valuable in that it had more information than the manual. And they did supply a list of the differences. |

Interesting comments, thanks for that. Is this the only training DVD out there for the FX1 and Z1U?

That is the only one I know of, and it would be difficult to do a better job unless they added more examples of when to use each setting.
