Anyone done a blow-up to 35mm?
I will start shooting a documentary in May, using the Z1E.
It will screen on TV, then be sold as a DVD. What we hope for is to a blow up and send it to festivals. Has anyone here done a blow up from footage from HDV to 35mm? If so, can you tell me about it? |

There are a few. Sony will have quite an HDV to film display at NAB as well.
What I've seen, which are two reels, it's awesome, very nice looking. Very deep, and rich. No cadence issues.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I saw footage from the Z1 on a 42" Panasonic HDTV for the first time this week and I was very impressed. Itīs a shame that so few will actually seee the footage at itīs full potencial. J |
