There was no charger supplied with my FX1, the camera itself is the charger (bummer). I picked up a Sony BC-V500 on eBay for about $50, and it's done good by me so far, it plugs right into an outlet (small, lightweight form factor) and you can hang two batteries on it. Sweet.

The charger that comes with the Z1 would be my choice. They are nice, and stupid simple to use.

I bought the AC-V700 when I bought my FX1. It doubles as the AC adapter for the camera as well as being a charger. Just flip a switch.

Drew,
I'm not sure, I'll pay attention to it next time. |

Sony BCV-500 - Does it charge two batts at ONCE?
Will the "Sony BCV-500 Portable Dual AC Charger - for L Series Lithium-Ion Batteries" (shown here) charge two batteries simultaneously or does it only charge one first and then the next one in sequence?
I read MikeF74's post (shown here) that the Sony "dual charge will [only] charge the batteries sequentially" so he's saying it will not charge two simultaneously. However, he's talking about the Dual Charger for the HDR-HC1 and I don't know what model charge that is. |
