Fx1 and Marantz vp12s3
Hi,
if I connect my Sony FX1E to the Marantz projector vp12s3 via component cable the projector gives the error: “out of range”. The projector manual gives this specification for the component input: 1080/50i , resolution 1920/540, V 50 Hz, H 28.1 KHz. What are the exact specifications of the FX1E component-output? Any other has a similar problem? Thanks in advance, Roland Sorry for my bad english ;) |

Troubling...while we are waiting for someone to weigh in on that, Roland, is that your projector and do you feel it is worth the money? I'm looking at the vp12s4 for my home theatre--choking on the price tag a bit (I have to go with the long-throw lens also).

Hi Charles,
the projector is not mine. It is of our association of videomakers (Cineclub Bolzano). We have a little projection room (50 seats). The projector works very well (good blacks, no rainbow effect) but its very expensive. We have tested it only in standard definition.... ;( If you have enough money the new Maratnz is a good choice... but I don’t know if it will work with the Sony FX1.... ciao Roland |
