So have you had a good look at CF25 and if yes then what is your opinion of it and how it looks converted to 24p?

My guess is it's gonna look fine (for my purposes)...it's just a question of how smooth/rough the FCP 25fps conformed to 24 workflow is. |

Use cinema tools to conform 25 to 23.98. Should work ok, but I don't know for certain with the HDV codecs.

Doing this with a CF25 m2t off the web worked great. It was so easy it was anti-climactic. I hope people with Vegas figure out a way to do this...
My purchase of the camera pretty much hinges on whether or not I can get an easy 24fps out of it like this. Looks like it's going to work. I'll have real CF25 real soon... |
