Questions about CF30
Does the output from CF30 have any combing/interlacing artifacts? If not, are the fields recording at the same time, or is it just a deinterlacing process?
Also, I've read that motion is not constant between frames in CF24. Is this also true in CF30? Oops, sorry - this should be in the HDR-FX1 section. |

CF30 displays no interlace artifacts. It appears to be a straight de-interlace of the full raw 1080i signal, delivering a theoretical 540 lines of resolution (and what appears to be an observed 575 lines).

Thanks. I assume that there's no problem with uneven motion with CF30 then.

Because it is straight de-interlace, I'd say that it has artifacts of a straight de-interlace. There's two fields recorded at diffrent time combined together. |

That is correct, no uneven motion in CF30. |
