Upconvert DV to HDV?
I know when I got my DV stuff, I upconverted all my analog tapes
to DV and saw a quality improvement. Now, can one do the same with DV to HDV? Dave |

i would think that since hdv records so different. that this would not work. best bet would be to upconvert to hd.
your analog video probably improved because dv is a much cleaner signal. i look forward to hearing what other people have to say about this subject.

I believe Darrell is right about that. Mpeg-2 TS is such a vastly different thing than DV and HD (Cam, DVCPRo, etc.), which always go together ok.
