The day I've been waiting for.

Great job Johann. I don't know how you get all these breaking stories. I can't wait to see if sony really brings this out for the prosumer market. Questions that pop up: Is sony going to upgrade the ccd to 1/2 inch or even follow Canon? and use cmos sensors for there color accuracy? Time will tell. What is everyone's take?

Sony did NOT announce a HDV camera for sale, they announced a prototype. If you read the announcement carefully, they say nothing about it being available until the market has more players and products.
