Black stretch on z1

Hi guys,when you suggest me to use the blackstretch?Never been a great fan of it but maybe i'll change my mind!

It will help in low light situations. It should help anywhere you have a very contrasty image where details are getting lost in the dark parts of the images.

But really, the only way to understand it is to just shoot some test footage under different conditions with and without black stretch. If, for whatever reason, you don't find it useful... then don't use it! Nobody ever said you have to use every crayon in the box.
