Battery Falls Off
I have a Series 7 battery on my FX1 that occasionally falls off when I am carrying the camera while attached to a tripod. It was once lost for several hours until I could find it in tall reeds. Currently I have reflective tape attached to the sides of the battery to help locate it when it falls off. Does anyone have a suggestion to more securely attach the battery to the camera?

There's a clip that holds the battery still. if you press the release button with no battery there, you shoud see the clip moving.
My guess is that a piece has broken off your battery allowing it to come off without having pressed the release button. Another idea might be to wedge something in above the battery, so it can't move up to release itself. |

The battery fits an adaptor that uses the camera's release button. I like the idea of wedging something on top of the camera. I think a piece of soft foam taped to the top of the battery should work. Thanks, Dale
