Looking to purchase an FX1
I am watching a few items on ebay but wondered if there were any other good resources (I'm based in the UK).
Thanks! |

It's always tricky buying broadcast gear of e-bay in my opinion. FX1's might not be so bad as there are a little more 'domestic'
I've seen a particular Z1 relisted on there several times, I wonder if the buyer wanted to see it before buying and the seller seemed iffy. I'm thinking about selling my VX2000 and Z1 as I now have an EX1, but selling them will be a pain I don't want to courier them.

Tim,
If you're dealing with Prestons, it'd be best to phone up - I don't think the website is as up to date as the B&Hs and Amazons of this world! The staff are helpful and friendly (and generous - John Preston threw in free XLR leads with my V1 - not a huge financial hit for him, but it was a nice gesture).

I think you can't see the classified forum until you've been a member for a bit, and have posted some minimum number of posts. Not sure what the exact cutoffs are (maybe a month, no idea about the post number).
