FX1 to computer monitor?
How can I plug my FX1 into a computer monitor as they only have HDMI, DVI, or VGA? Is there a cord I can buy, or do I have to get some expensive box to convert the signal? If so forget it!

You'll need a monitor that has component (for hd) or composite for SD.

Actually there are some relatively inexpensive convertor boxes that will take component input and convert to VGA or DVI. They're intended for use with videogame consoles and computer monitors.
We've discussed around here before, but unfortunately I can't find the thread. We prefer that you buy from our sponsors, but if you just google something to the effect "xbox component vga" you will find a number of products. Of course it's easy to go from VGA to DVI with a cheap adaptor plug. But caveat emptor, these are intended for games so the quality may not be so great. |
