Detent problem with view screen on FX-1

When we are filming I have a constant need to change from real high to real low angles. As I rotate the view screen it has a detent every 90 degrees. I have to try and really carefully turn it as I am working to avoid a loud click from being recorded.

Does anyone know how to remove the spring or whatever is doing this as I rotate the screen. I know an off cam mic will solve the problem, but there are times that is not practical for us.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Bill
