Those low priced Z1U's?
Has anyone done any business with one of these mail order camera dealers who claim to sell the Z1U for way less than the "B&H" price. I see them listed
for as low as $1400 when B&H has them for $4600. [ non-sponsor link removed by Admin ] Anyone actually buy one of these and had it work out and if so, which dealer?

No problem if you want to conduct this discussion by private email, but as a matter of policy, on this site the only dealers we discuss on our public message boards are our trusted sponsors: http://www.dvinfo.net/sponsors
$1400 is way, way below dealer cost for that camcorder and nobody is actually going to sell it to you for that price -- they're just trying to get you to call. There are any number of bait & switch scams and other kinds of schemes at work with those low-ballers that have been extensively discussed on this site many times in the past. In short, it's a rip-off. Always. Stick with the honest, reputable dealers who support this site. Hope this helps, |
