As there are much better mics (even inexpensive mics) out there than the ECM-NV1. The problem with using another shock mount and the ECM-NV1 is that I find you are petty much liited to using it with the supplied shock mount only because of its barrel configuration (made to fit perfectly into the PD170 shock mount). |

Yeah, the NT-G1, NT-G2 and similar, longer shotguns fit perfectly in the Azden shock mount I have, as well. Thanks, anyway!
