No I curerntly use it with my Rode NTG2 mic.

I personally would recommend using another mic rather than the ECM-NV1. As there are much better mics (even inexpensive mics) out there than the ECM-NV1.

The problem with using another shock mount and the ECM-NV1 is that I find you are petty much liited to using it with the supplied shock mount only because of its barrel configuration (made to fit perfectly into the PD170 shock mount).

Yeah, the NT-G1, NT-G2 and similar, longer shotguns fit perfectly in the Azden shock mount I have, as well. Thanks, anyway!
