Sony FX7: what wide angle lens?
Hi, I'd like to purchase 0HD-55WA-SH6 0.55x lens Century Optics for my Sony FX7.
Somebody has just told me it will give me a lot of barrel distortion. I like 0HD-55WA-SH6 0.55x lens because it is thin, light and because it is 0.55x. I don't need to zoom with it, I will use it on wide-angle lens only. Do you think I will do a bad choice buying 0HD-55WA-SH6 0.55x lens for my Sony FX7? thanks, Giorgio |

Zoom-through or not to zoom through
Not sure what the options are for the FX7 or what you intend using it for but are you sure you don't want zoom-through control?
You may not be planning any zooming shots as such, but having a better range of framing options is a huge benefit and will cut down on the amount of time you'll spend attaching and re-attaching your wangle. Worth the extra euros I'd say. John |

I found these on ebay. I don't know if there any good but I am also thinking of one and I don't want to pay more than $80 as I will only use it occasionally and I am not a full time professional yet.
I know that an excellent lens is the HDP-6000EX High Definition Wide angle conversion Lens 0.79X http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/video/hdrfx7/index.htm but the price is too much for me, at this time at least. Stelios
