Who here is using their V1U w/ Blackmagic & Cineform?

Have there been any comparisons made yet based on this live capture technique versus recording directly to tape?

Most of the shooting I do is indoors and would be relatively simple to record directly into my computer (I'd just need to buy a 50 foot HDMI cable from Monoprice).

Would this be worth the hassle though? Have there been noticeable improvements noticed by anyone here in the forum?

I'd love to see comparisons if some have been done.

I have done both with Intensity card and have not noticed a difference in quality.

But I would not consider my eyes "trained" like others.

I, on the other hand, only shoot outdoors so I have been capturing as DVCProHD and LOVE the results.
