Coming at IBC 2007 -- a Shoulder-mount V1?

In addition to the XDCAM EX camcorder we may see the ultimate (last?) HDV camcorder. If at the DSR-250 price range, it would be about $7500.

PS: If the XDCAM EX uses 1/2-inch CMOS chips and captures 1440x1080 at 48Hz, 50Hz, and 60Hz -- then not only will the EIP be able to output 1080i50/i60, 1080p24/p25/p30 and 720p50/720p60 -- 1080p50 and 1080p60 should also be possible. Just what the BBC wants.

Basically that cam is a HDV version of the 250, at last.
Sony confirmed to me that the XDCAM EX will do 720p50. Didn't mention 720p60, that might just be too much for it.

I take it the XDCAM replaces the 450?
