Help needed adjusting the Iris manually

I've gone through the menu and used all of the settings for the iris. No matter what setting I use I get a invalid in auto lock mode/ hold mode hen I press exposure/iris... How do I get out of this mode so I can have manual control over the iris?

Turn off the autolock on the back of the cam, be sure it's set in the middle position.
