HOLD vs MANUAL vs AUTO
Guys, I've got so used to the dial knob and "Priority" modes of the Canon, that I must get accustommed to the Sony philosophy again:) Just a quick question: am I right thinking that the HOLD mode is there just to protect your MANUAL setting from inadvertently changing by touching the dial? Or am I missing something?

On Sony cameras, the HOLD setting should lock the manual settings and prevent inadvertant changes.
