7.2 v output auxilary output power available on V1U?
I'm wondering if there is any way to output 7.2v to power external 7.2 volt devices from the Sony V1U. It would be nice to be able to power some of the external devices without having to add on extra batteries to the device itself.
I'm working on a little DIY project that utilizes 7.2 v power at 65mA. I know a few camcorders do have an output power jack. There isn't an obvious one on the Sony V1U, but perhaps there is a way tap into another jack or source which supplies it (the 48v phantom power is an obvious choice by the voltage is too high and current capabilities too low) Any help is appreciated. -Keith |

I know of the IDX battery adapter with 12V output, and the Ianiro 970-compatible battery with 7.2V socket: http://www.ianiro.com/hdvcam_light.asp

12v
There's the Coco Power Converter but its output seems to be 12v.
