does V1 have chroma undersampling fringes like A1?

Under some conditions the canon A1 and some other HDV CCD cameras sometimes have a problem of color fringing on high contrast vertical edges from chroma undersampling.

Anyone know if the V1 CMOS sensors also have this problem?
