Gang, there are already several posts going back several years on rolling shutter and CMOS. I think we can all agree that lower cost CMOS camcorders are going to exhibit rolling shutter effects under certain kinds of conditions. Whether those conditions are or are not part of your typical workflow is subjective, so I believe this topic is left at that.
