sony hvr-m25u and HVR-V1
Are these 100% compatible? Can the V1 be used with the M15U?

There is a post somewhere in this section that addresses that question. Tapes recorded on the V1 are supposed to be compatable with all 3 of the Sony HDV decks.

Tapes from the V1 should work in any 1080i HDV camera or deck which is very nice.
