Sony HVR-V1P
Hi World, hello forum :D
im new on the forum, as i am in cinematography i got a very used V1p camera (free gift) to work with it (weddings, etc) Stats are: Func: 610 (60x10h) Drum: 430h Tape: 350h Threads: 1190 As far i read in forums, Drums hours before a change its 1500-2000h So i am good with times still. Im planing to go on from Tape to Digital, Truly HD (1920x1080 4:2:2 color depth) So im in the middle of this items : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/700092-REG/Datavideo_DN_60_DN_60_Digital_CF_Card.html http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/844597-REG/Blackmagic_Design_HyperDeck_Shuttle_2_and.html Cards are very cheap on ebay, but also Disk its 120gb, so i can get lots of hours with it. My question its, has anyone experience with any of this products? What do you recommend? I will use for work (on weddings) but i want to make documentary (thats why i want to get full HD) |

Re: Sony HVR-V1P
So i did my homework...
And seems like Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle 2 Records only in: Records QuickTime and Avid DNxHD MXF Thats means a Apple Computer, wich i dont own And also it will need a USB SSD Dock for transfer the files. Since the usb port in the BDHS2 its only for firmware update I will go for the SD card tech, its cheapest for me now thanks for help ;) |
