Small handycam

I have been using a v1 for 3 years, mainly for wildlife. I need a pocket type camcorder, how does the pana tm300/sony 520 etc picture quality compare with v1? I using cs4 with matrox rtx2 so could downcovert through component to 1440 1080
Thanks Richard

I don't know the Panny, but the XR520v's picture is vastly superior to the V1's. From what I've seen, it's superior to the EX1's as well.
