anyone any idea how much one is worth? i haven't seen any for sale anywhere.

I've got no idea.
Just check that either the camera is still under warranty, or that it doesn't have the back-focus issue that they had early in the production run. I do enjoy my V1P, though. And if I should ever want to move beyond the quality of HDV, I can always record direct from the HDMI output (which is prior to the compression of the HDV stage). That, in a way, is good future-proofing for a camera. Andrew |

have a buyer for $3.5k (au). cameras in pristine condition (i'm not!!!). amazing how few hdv cameras there are for sale 2nd hand. leslie |

Sounds okay for me. I think the buyer would be happy too with the price. As you mentioned ... hard to know for sure.
Those Sony V1Ps are certainly in high demand. VideoPro in Brisbane (whom I bought mine from) just can't get enough of them. Andrew |
