Beware of using step up/down rings! On two occasions I have found that focus was compromised. In one case - a 58 mm Century converter used with a 62 mm thread camera - only the central area of the field was sharp; in the other case no focus was possible. Admittedly these were both teleconverters. The extra DOF with WA converters probably means this is not a problem
